Conventional clearing equipment typically utilizes a method of “pulling” techniques, which causes soil disturbance while creating heavy debris to haul or burn. With much of the country experiencing extreme drought, burning is not an option and many landfills will not accept large quantities of debris which greatly limit disposal options. Our specialized forestry machines are specifically designed for mastication/mulching of all types of vegetation regardless of size or density. The chipped and shredded vegetation remains on site for erosion control.
The BCS clearing treatment allows selective removal of vegetation while leaving the desirable tree(s) and root structures undisturbed. Wood chips and mulch left on site accelerate the natural decomposition process, reduce erosion and increase soil moisture retention which ultimately preserves and improve the health of the remaining trees and habitat.

BCS Mulching equipment creates a ground friendly layer of heavy mulch which greatly increases water soil retention. The BCS equipment is capable of any clearing project including sensitive projects such as Wetlands Restoration, Hazardous Fuel Load Reduction, and Pipeline and Seizmograph Clearing.

Barko 930 Mulcher The Barko is a highly maneuverable rubber tire carrier designed to perform demanding right-of-way and reforestation site prep applications. We use this machine on a wide range of upland sites and uneven terrain. The increased horsepower and maneuverability enables this machine to be highly productive for large commercial and municipal projects.
Supertrak SK120 Skid Steer Mulcher Ideal for light duty clearing for residential lots, recreational properties and commercial development. We also use this machine for cleanup behind our larger equipment.
